We hold the simple belief that every individual has the right to live their life to the full, including the right to receive the right kind of treatment and support to minimise the impact of trauma, disability, or mental illness. As competent young people and young adults, our clients have the right to be full participants in all decisions made about how they live their daily lives and plan for their futures.

People also have the right to expect that where emotional, developmental or other impairments limit their capacity to make safe adult choices about their lives, that those responsible for their care and treatment will provide appropriate security and boundaries through safe environments and managed programmes until such time as they are able to internalise these safety and control mechanisms and more autonomously regulate their own lives.

Full time services are complemented by a range of 'lighter touch' interventions delivered through our Saol Iomlan project.
