OUR ASSESSMENTS

We begin with a paper assessment based on existing information provided by other professionals who have had contact with the service user over many years.
 
»We then design a multi-disciplinary assessment package specific to the presenting issues which will include social situation and skills as well as clinical need. We utilise suitable psychometric tests and indices of mental health as well as comprehensive risk assessment.

»The assessment team is drawn together from our own resources supplemented by our associate consultants where necessary (for example occupational health or speech and language, movement or sound therapists, or other experts that we are considering for involvement in the specific project).

»Our assessment will identify strengths, resources, needs and risks, as well as gaps in lives that have been punctuated by a range of presenting difficulties and resultant treatments and interventions that have often taken them away from the basic elements of knowledge that are needed to participate as fully as possible in society. »»More
